The Child & Family Well-Being Pavilion building is approximately 100,000 sq. ft., two story building. The renovation project initiated by the City of Newark included improvements to offices, examination rooms, kitchen, labs, reception area, record storage facilities, nursing station design, IT & BAS networking system design, restrooms, and maintenance rooms.
he Robinson’s engineering team offered complete Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design and construction administration services including field survey, detail design, specification and cost estimates.
The work incorporated preparation of scope reports, fire alarm system, lighting, wiring, panelboards, emergency generator, emergency and exit lighting, two 300-hp 240 degree water boilers, sprinkler system, HVAC, BMS, ducts, tamper switch, flow switch, 400 ton chiller, cooling coils, chilled water, piping, and valves.
In addition, Robinson provided construction management services, which includes log, track, and review of shop drawings, coordination with the ontractor, review of RFI’s and provide response within a time frame, perform MEP construction inspection, prepare punch list report/inspection, and review of as-built drawings.
